Land Rover Defender would probably suit her.

I've been down this road and if you are anything like me it will end up costing you even more money! I decided to get rid of a superb 02 plate 4.4 petrol which I got £13000 for towards a £26000 jag xf . Lovely car but after 2 years and depreciation of around £12000 I ended up spending shed loads more on a 61 plate SE because I missed the old RR soooooo much. It's like a drug once you have had one and nothing else comes close, keep the RR if you can. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

She has had 2 defenders in the past. She did want another one but I have convinced her not to. They are overpriced rust buckets with no safety features whatsoever. I love the look of them and the puma 2.4 90 we had was actually ok to drive, better than the 110 td5 d/cab at least. So no, defenders are not on the list. Previously..

Scratch the Porker itch !!
I'm a big fan, had a Boxster when they were first out, and a Cayenne S. loved em
Nagged her indoors for a 996 weekend toy .... Overruled hence the FFRR

Out of interest. Why 997 ? A 996 gt3 is an absolute classic with v slow depreciation , bit more hard core... It is your bloke toy after all ? Wink 996 turbos so capable for so little £

Maybe it's a London thing, 911's everywhere , my neighbour chopped in his beautiful 997 turbo cab for a Ferrari 355 spider , so much more character. 997 was v quick, but dare I say a little sterile.
Too well behaved and quiet unless you thrashed it , and down here we don't have the roads for that Crying or Very sad
(Plus rozzers and scameras) Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix
