I am really confused about this as some members have said you have to and some said you dont.

When converting a 2006 to the 2010 front end.. Is there any modifications required to the wings?? Or should the 2010 bumper fit straight on with the brackets??

Also does the 2010 fog/pdc wiring loom
Fit straight into the exisiting 2006 loom???

I think modification to wings was for preface lift cars only < 2005

From what I have read yes should plug straight in you still need a resistor inline to slow indicator flash.on earlier cars as above new loom was needed hope that helps.

Can you not do a trial fit of light to existing loom so you will know for sure ?

Yes mate what i intended to do was strip the whole front in one go... But just wanted to double check with the wings.. Headlights shouldnt be a prob as i have a plug and play resistors for this.. My main worry was if i needed to cut the wings???

Harvey keep me posted please very interested in talking to you after completion. You should check lights in existing connections anyway as removal of existing is only 3 screws.

I'm certain no wing mods are needed due to existing light being one piece as opposed to two pieces on older model hence reason for cutting wing.  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

be carefull with the wiring on the headlamps , allthough the headlamp plugs are the same on 2006 and 2010 the pins are wired different , you will have to re-pin the multi plug to suit the 2010 headlamp the pins come out easy with the correct tool , i do have the pin data that i saved from l322.com before the site went down if you need it  1990 3.5 v8 defender

I used the same resistors on the back leds and they where very straight forward.. I have got the same resistor boxes for the front and an instruction manual showing me step by step..
