CD Magazine Stuck !

Folks,

Any ideas or help would be most greatfull.. Unable to eject the CD Magazine, looks like tray 1 is still ejected within the system. On the display it just says ' No Magazine'.

Is there a way of getting the system out of the glove box or a reset ?

Have to drive to Manchester today... looks like it could be a very long drive Confused 2005 Audi A8 W12

Thanks for the advice,

Removed the fuse, the unit clicks but fails to eject the magazine. Fortunatley I won a replacement changer on ebay last night ... £70 ! ( Which I thought was a bargain ).

How easy is it to remove the unit and fit the new one ?

Dead easy, bolt in/out and plug n play. (normally)

I'll check Rave for you.

I checked Rave and there is no mention of the CD multi changer other than an exploded diagram of the audio system showing where it lives, nothing on replacing or removing it. Sorry. Discovery 4 HSE

LOL perhaps the disc fell out the tray and went 'through the barricades'?

Embarassed sorry, couldn't resist.

Good luck with the extraction (and subsequent stamping up and down on) the errant disc Thumbs Up

"True" as this problem could make you "Highly Strung" and with the right "Communication" someone might be able to throw you a "Lifeline" to save you from going "Round and Round" over this same fault but "To Cut a Long Story Short" hopefully someone will be able to help ......... Thumbs Up
