The secondary battery idea is a good one but i think about 80ah is the only size that i can fit in the boot side without loosing bootspace, aka DAN UK stylee.

I just meant sit a large battery in the boot space for the occasions you would need it. |

Is it really worth it to go to all that trouble to jump start a Random …… if it was me it would be a case of " sod off away and buy a decent battery ya clown " …… |

problem with another battery is that it never seems to work. Tried it a few times with a car thats not started and the recipient vehicle wouldn't fire. As soon as the donor was started after about 10seconds the recipient vehicle fired up

I bought one of these last year and when i had the motorhome it fired it up a couple of times when the battery was flat no problem also the FF on one occasion ….
