Reviving an old thread because I am really happy to have found it.

A 10 year old touchscreen I thought would need replacing because of all the fingerprint muck on it is now good as new after 5 minutes with a baby wipe and finished off with a Zeiss glass cleaner pad.

Yup I did the same when I took mine out. It will be even better as you can really get into the corners. It’s like a new screen. So clear and crisp.
