Watches and RR's

Idly reading a watch thread on another car enthusiasts site and found an interesting little thread on pairing watches with the cars the owners drive.

Then got very annoyed with this chap's suggestion about what a RR driver wears...

Haven't replied yet. What a Censored !

I love this one :-

AP & PP also VC are chauffeur driven, RR, Bentley or Maybach, same class, about the same price, but in a market where cost is not relevant and you pick the one you like most.
I like the idea of having a watch so posh that you pay a man in a hat to wear it for you and tell you the time when asked. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Hmm I was about to post what I wear but then I saw the "Fake Rolex" comment for RR and thought better of it. I wear a Rolex Submariner as a daily watch because it's so precisely engineered, a thing of utter beauty, extremely tough and very understated compared to other £5k+ watches. Kinda like a FFRR .... (maybe apart from the precisely engineered bit)

I have a Seiko Arctura Kinetic. It winds itself up (a bit like the missus - but that's another story).
I see it as a positive environmental measure, contributing towards lowering my carbon footprint!
Now wheres that Supercharged brochure. Laughing
Had it, loved it!

This did prompt me to take a look at the Hublot website then after selecting a model that appealed to my taste, quickly realising that if I wanted one, next years holiday would have to be to Thailand.

Although technically a Kinetic still has a battery so it's had some nasty chemicals used in it's creation (bit like a Prius). To be truly eco-friendly get a proper automatic, although prices can vary from £50-£500,000 ....

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I love my Casio Edifice, it is a bit like the RR, heavy, very nice to look at and works quite well (at least mine does, touch wood).

Does anyone know who produced the Range Rover watch ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

20th Anniversary watches were done by Kobold but the rest I can't tell. Looking at them I would assume Citizen or Tissot from their looks.

This is news to me, I didn't think it had a battery in it. Oh well, I promise to change another light bulb to LED that'll save the planet!

Well I can hardly talk. Even if my watch is "green" every time I floor it in my car a polar bear drowns. I floor it a lot ... David Attenborough must hate me!
