that screen is the same as the non-touch screen on the range ...the newer touch screens are different and because the signal travels down the MOST fibre optic cable ,the only way to get a reverse camera working is to connect directly to the rear of the screen and activate on the ccf. ... - .- -.

I finally connected up my reverse camera today (checked it was working first and no problems) and then installed. When I spliced into camera wires into the reversing lights, Brown (power) and Wht with yellow stripe (Earth?) coming out of the back of the reversing lap connector, i got a "Check Reversing Lights" error when tried the ignition (and no image). Pulled it back out and the error went away. Plugged camera into the 12V jump started and it works well. Any ideas why id get an error splicing into the Reverse lights? More importantly what else could I use to get power from (preferably something in the tailgate that has power all the time)? I would suspect you're getting the error because the LCM will be checking the impedance/resistance of the reverse circuit and when you add something in, this value changes, hence the error.

taking power from the reverse lights shouldn't cause errors, to be sure take a bulb out when trying..

You can turn the cam on using Steve's, but you must have the correct firmware for the front entertainment module.

The image and screen work fine (I have a black box for that already installed), it switches to the cam when going into reverse.

i've looked on rave and cant figure out which wire is which tbh...one point though, i'm not sure if the ciggy socket is on the ignition, if its a permanent feed then you might drain the battery ..
