4th for earth fault! When I was chasing a slightly different issue with my indicators I checked, cleaned and checked again all the earth points I could find. Turned out that one of my number plate bulb holders was slightly touching the chassis hence my weird light glitches. Bent it back and been fine since? Reformed |

Thanks for the input guys, does seem like an earth issue. Checked all connections, fuses, had a wiggle at all and sundry and its working normally again. Could have been the damp I guess as it has poured non stop here for days. |

I had the sme problem a couple of years ago with a Honda civic. Same fault, especially when the weather was damp. Thhe indicators came on under braking. Had it, in an out of the garage numerout times. To cut a long story short, the mechanic spliced a new earth wire into each of the light clusters at the back and ran them to a suitable earth point (possibly chassis, but cannot rrcall) and this solved the intermittent problem.
