Indicators come on as brake lights

L322...Problem somewhere. When braking, the rear indicators light up and brake lights dont. Indicators act normally otherwise. A quick fix anyone? Tried to find a 322 electrics diagram but no joy.

Obvious question sorry, but you have not changed a bulb or touched any connector have you? Previously..

4th for earth fault! When I was chasing a slightly different issue with my indicators I checked, cleaned and checked again all the earth points I could find. Turned out that one of my number plate bulb holders was slightly touching the chassis hence my weird light glitches. Bent it back and been fine since? Reformed

Thanks for the input guys, does seem like an earth issue. Checked all connections, fuses, had a wiggle at all and sundry and its working normally again. Could have been the damp I guess as it has poured non stop here for days. Thumbs Up

I had the sme problem a couple of years ago with a Honda civic. Same fault, especially when the weather was damp. Thhe indicators came on under braking. Had it, in an out of the garage numerout times. To cut a long story short, the mechanic spliced a new earth wire into each of the light clusters at the back and ran them to a suitable earth point (possibly chassis, but cannot rrcall) and this solved the intermittent problem. MY2010 TDV8 Vogue Ipanema Sand
