The dimensions of the two different wheel nuts are obvious when you insert them onto the wheel (try this before mounting the wheel) New style nuts will not fit onto earlier wheels and old style nuts will be loose in the aperture of the new wheels.

Thanks for the quick response and comprehensive info. I will have look for a new set on the net. Cant see any problems, just type big shiny nuts into the search bar on google...
