TBH taxi firms are just fronts, every single one as there is no way for a new taxi firm to start up in any area as they are locked down with fee's and so on and the gangs that run them tend to make sure any upstarts soon fail.....

Thats a bit harsh..! I have to say id always go down the cash route if possible, why bother thru insurance it just drives everyone's else's premiums up.. And sometimes cash is the easiest simplest way. I'd always hope if it was the other way around the person would let me pay cash.. |

depends on the damage caused....there could be other problems found if/when the repairers do the job , whereas you might take a cash sum of £3k for instance only to find out it cost more to repair... ... - .- -.

why should an arrogant taxi driver, or any driver for that matter be allowed to smash into your car and get off lightly?? the fact to me that they are so called professional drivers as well makes it even worse.

Well - the only damage is to the back bumper (cracked and paint scuffed) - and the the lover tailgate - paint scuffed where bits of plastic bumper hit it.
