Range rover tdv8 2007 light power steering

Hi I have just bought a tdv8 vogue and it has very light power steering, it runs straight and breaks straight but seems very light, has any body else had this happen if so any thoughts about what to do.

I have just had new tyres and brake pad/discs fitted and tyrevpressuresvare spot on, I do have to confess that the previous owner fitted storm 22" wheels/tyres. I no these are looked down on and I might fit some 19" wheels from a previous 2007 RR sport.

Variable power steering valves are the normal culprit if steering gets very heavy or very light and not too expensive to fit either...

The steering does get firmer the faster I go and above 50 it feels right. It's dry light when stationary up to 40

Yes Stan, the same on all models i think??? We had one that would go from lock to lock with the flick of a finger... Very odd feeling.

Thanks very much, I will be off to get my servotronic valves replaced, when you mentioned that they (is that two) are not expensive, in what sort of ball park will the cost be in?

I love the look and will keep mine, although all the negative jibes did make me think my light steering was a result of the 22's, so now I feel much happier thanks to you guys Thumbs Up
Ps I posted the same question on the Land Rover forum and attracted the attention of the retards, with some really aggressive comments.
