I had a similar problem with mine and it was the easy to get to fuel pump in front of the rear wheel . Took about 10 minutes to replace and never had the issue since.

Oh , forgot to add , also had the main thermostat by passed with the renault in pipe mod , rather than strip the engine apart to replace the original Smile

My Mercedes SL , E Class and C class have them as standard in the cars tool kit . In the 80's my W123 Mercedes had it as standard as well - all in aluminium .

I got the CTEK MXS 5 and it wasn't powerful enough for my battery so upgraded to an MXS 10 . Fantastic bit of kit and worth every penny Very Happy
