If it's only 1 bank reporting lean, you can safely rule out any problem with the MAF; that would trigger BOTH banks.

greasing the brake discs should elimate any occurance of resistance between the brake pads and the disc.
make sure you use high-temperature grease.

In theory it should still be resistance dependent.
Typically, the resistance of the "dimmer" is used in the PWM circuit to determine pulse width.
