i would guess an an accumulation of dust in the sat nav units (DVD drive in the boot) cooling fan, or the fan has packed up. |

you can get special superglue for plastics. It normally has a marker pen with an activator in it as well as the normal glue. That's pretty strong. |

There's not electrical contact in the swan neck fitting.
The fog lamp cut out just works by detecting there is a trailer connected to the lighting socket. I would guess the socket got water in it, ... |
