L663 take-offs now fitted. Extraordinarily good value, five wheels with new tyres for £400! Plus another £80 for a set o ...

Further to my last post, has anyone managed / bothered to shoehorn an 020 battery into their 405? Same width and height as the standard 019, but 393mm rather than 353mm.

As I don’t have a Gap tool, if I replace my batteries myself will the car start so that I can drive to my Indy for the software bit to be done?

I’ve seen a few posts indicating an 020 battery will fit in the L405. It looks a bit unlikely as there’s a triangular indent in the back corner of the battery ‘bay’ (On my 2018 anyway). Can an ...

I can vouch for the Grabber AT3 in the slightly higher profile 255/55 R20. Absolutely fantastic on the L322! Gives a better ride in my opinion than the 50 profile. It will fit in your spare wheel well ...

My remote app has decided the car is unlocked (It isn’t, I checked!) and won’t update / refresh when pulled down. Any ideas why? My battery is probably getting a bit long in the tooth, only showin ...

Re-using the originals would likely work.
If you bought another set, I *think* they might need registered to the car using IID tool or similar.

One more question, Fisha, if you don’t mind; What ...

It was £350 for the gearbox flush, then £180 for both diffs (E-diff on the rear) and the transfer case. I’d strongly recommend getting Ian in, as all the fluids in mine were disgusting - It was ob ...

Ian is just doing oil changes on the gearbox, both diffs and transfer case of my 2018 SDV8. A really fantastic service, he has also advised me of a potential oil cooler leak and worn front ball joints ...

Would either removing and re-using the original TPMS valves or getting another L405 set work? I don’t have an IID tool, and anyway would prefer to have the monitoring functional.

I was about to fit one of these with the M6 eyelets to both main and aux batteries but the clamp nuts tighten up as they get towards the top of the stud. I think the stud ends have been peened over. W ...

I have started using a Stoplock Pro. If you turn your wheel just off-centre anti-clockwise so the lower right ‘spoke’ is horizontal, then the locking bit fits over it nicely and the arm rests nice ...

Christian told me he’s going with the 5w40 in The Queen too from it’s next oil change.
