So that I can upshift when I know that the engine will still pull well in the next higher gear!

Justifying both the tacho and paddles in the one sentence.

It is just a washer that is fitted between the joint and the bracket.

BS611 has ID 8.73mm and CS 1.78mm (OD 12.29mm)

The groove in the fitting is 9mm OD and the hole in the oil cooler is 12m ID.

Your non-start issue only began after you changed the fuel pressure sensor and did something to its wiring. I would revisit that wiring.

Spot-on chicb! The dashcam was constantly restarting, possibly due to write errors from my having swapped out a larger card for a smaller one without reformatting.
