United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

Came back from a wedding, then took the kids out to get it pole washed, then a last minute shop. Now of for a fair few miles of visiting relatives and an Xmas eve party for some family then home with some sleepy nippers in the car.

Filled her up yesterday after getting 24mpg from 3/4 tank, and so far used an 1/8 tank and it's comes out at 17.1 Sad

Hope I can improve it today Smile

Took family to the football ( Saints (Southampton) vs Eagles (Crystal Palace)) 2-0 to us!

Tested out TV in motion (analog) on the way back (after setting it with Navcoder) due to very slow traffic.

Don't recommend it. Even out in the open countryside signal and picture is pretty bad, sound is OK but you get that (sound) even without the Navcoder fix or cable. Family appreciated it though...

Will have to see if DVB is any better. .

Fixed the pixels on the MID by replacing the ribbon cable.
Put it back together, realised the button lights on the MID aren't lighting up .... doh ! ( whole dash off again )

Also fixed the 2 door handle cables.
Put it back together, realised the ABS light is no on ... doh ( i did disconnect the battery )

Disconnected and reconnected the battery.
Realised the headlight wiper is no stuck at 45 degrees ... doh ( I will pull the fuse for it )

Pretty much sums up my life with the RR> Laughing V8 or else ...

Spent the afternoon stripping out my AV system from the boot of the car, opening it all up and draining water out of DVD players etc, cleaning crap from circuit boards and drying everything off. Hopefully all should be ok tomorrow... Previously..

Took the caravan out for a quick check, first time towing with this RR, and all seemed well.

Wondered how the blind spot sensors would work but it appears they are disabled when a trailer is attached.

Reached a Special Number!

Well its taken my FFRR 9 years and 9 months exactly (spooky) to reach 123456 miles so has averaged 12662 miles per year. I have done 36674 miles since buying in July 2008, averaging 10235 miles per annum. That's @ 426 gallons of diesel a year, at current rates a staggering £3006 Whistle
