Temperature Gauge

Recently after starting on a journey the temperature gauge on the car can take up to a good 30 mins driving to reach near the centre of the gauge, even then there is not a great deal of heat coming from the de-misters

Plus if i am going on a longer journey in the current climate the gauge just slightly lifts off the blue .......

Basically i think the thermostat is gubbed ........ Whistle

But if i am say parked up with the engine running after about 15 /20 mins the car is roasting .... Confused
