Im sure it means something has changed. The mileage is stored on several ECU's. Off the top of my head the dash binical ECU and the BCM ECU, if either has been changed with and older or newer one the dot appears to show a miss match. The ecu's will show the higher mileage. the mileage is held in the clocks,LCM and main ecu, if any of these are change you will get the dot appear, if a new unit is fitted then it will be coded to your car and the correct mileage inserted.this can only be done once. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

As Daveo said. Sounds like they have used a spare/pre used LCM which obviously has a different mileage stored and the miss match is causing the dot. If they change it back will the Dot go? That's the million dollar question I would be asking. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
