I would try to avoid LPG - from what I know does the system not need to be serviced regularly in addition to the rest of the car. And does the cost of the conversion + maintenance not outweigh the cost of running a standard 4.2?

I'm about to start doing around 180 miles a day compared to my current 20!

I have a BMW 4.4 rather than a 4.2SC but the same theory holds good.

got a 4.4 V8 as JW and it has been faultless on the LPG - service £150

a bit of quick maths shows if you did that 5 days a week for say 40 weeks you'd be doing 36k PA!!
