Just been out trying to get the sat nav working. Thanks to Pretlove for sending my an sd card with IGO8 on it.
Its now all up and running  FFRR TD6 HSE

igo is so customisable , you can even get it to speak the street names ..

I need to spend some time looking at it, so I can see what its capable of. Maybe you can show me a few things at Salisbury Plain  FFRR TD6 HSE

Hi Greg your car looks mint mate I like the piano black also the steering wheel looks very classy.
Were did you get them posh dust caps from Im impressed, the head units are much better I'm very pleased with mine mate. I've just got my front bumper back on looks much better now that ugly nudge bar has gone.Also the black badges on doors do they just clip in place? Range rover hse

Good news on your bumper, we'll need to see some new pics once you have finished all your changes.
The black badges just clip in once you have removed the plastic airbag badges. They are pretty cheap and finish the door card off nicely, especially with piano black trim.

I purchased the sat nav from a UK based seller I found through ebay. He was very helpful and priced well. The unit itself will only work within SE & HSE spec cars that dont have a sat nav unit as standard. Its pretty much just plug in and play and has touch screen, ipod connection etc etc.
Pretlove has posted up a thread describing fitting the unit somewhere on forum as he has also put one in his FF. FFRR TD6 HSE

your menu is slightly differant to mine but the unit looks the same did you move the gprs antenna under the dash?
@scarey i never knew that about the street names i may have to switch back to using igo8 myslef instead of the tomtom  "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

The GPS is under dash. Tbh I just pushed it down the back of unit last weekend as I didn't think I'd have the software before Saturday. Still seems to work ok. That said I'll position it properly on Saturday when I have the dash off. FFRR TD6 HSE
