Amen to that!

Made a quick trip to the local scrapyard this morning for bits for a project for the Mini I'm working on, despite taking some old boot so the car didn't get dirty, the boot liner and tailgate carpet are dirty, the footwell mats are muddy and because I forgot my seat covers, the seats are a bit grubby (no idea why I didn't take the van instead!)

If mine comes up half as clean as yours, I'll be happy though.

I am sure they will.
Them pics have come out good as well. The naked eye could see a bit of darkness on the front seats. Same sort of thing on the drivers door. Just cant seem to get all the dirt off. I guess it gunna happen alittle as the car gets older. FFRR TD6 HSE

Like ingrained dirt in the grain of the door card itself?

If so, mine are like that, I saw this on the Maserati forum and asked what products the guy used..

I use Chemical Guys Green Cleaner or Insta Finish Super APC, but I would suggest you use the Extreme Leather Cleaner http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/letclea.htm because you don't need to dilute it or worry about its pH value because it's ready to go. After you've cleaned it wit that and used a toothbrush to get into all the cracks/wrinkles, wipe it clean with a microfiber towel, let it dry for a bit *a couple of hours with the doors open* and then apply some leather conditioner http://www.chemicalguysuk.com/product_p/letcond.htm. If your leather is dry you'll need to apply it in sessions to bring back the suppleness. By "sessions" I mean let the first application completely dry before you apply more cream. Applying too much at one time will only make the seats under the leather wet!

Used some chemical guys extreme leather cleaner today on my door cards. It worked superbly. Needed alittle help with a toothbrush but has come up looking as good as new. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow once I have finished the interior. Need to do the leather seats as well.
Thanks for the recommendation Mark Thumbs Up FFRR TD6 HSE

Tried te extreme leather cleaner on the seats earlier and it started taking the colour out so I discontinued use. Thought I best say in case others were trying the same. FFRR TD6 HSE

I'd get in touch with chemical guys and see if they know about the problem. I can recommend Gliptone though, seems nice and gentle on the leather. 2006 Mercedes CLS
