United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Zambezi Silver

Picked her up from the dealer last night. New idler pulleys, new belts, new fan and new reverse camera fitted. Camera now working and no cold start squeal this morning. Glad to see the back of the Mini Cooper S I had as a courtesy car although it was fun for a few days.

Finally tried cleaning the black plastic under the front bumper... don't think it'll ever be black again with all that dirt/mud

Thanks! It's a SC, but had the headliner redone by a shop in alcantara with black double stitching. Feels totally new inside!

First long real drive.

Went to Sainsbury's, got some food, then queued for the forecourt, stuck the pump nozzle in, jammed my makeshift holder into the grip and bent over the pump waiting for a gov rep to get to it Wink £115 to fill up today and it wasn't even on the warning light Sad Most BioD i've put in was £100 so bit shocked, as even at 25mpg avg at the minute range only shows 490miles Very Happy

Reckon the 490 must be the max its ever allowed to read! One day i think i'll try and beat 600 miles from a tank to see if its possible, though slow going!

also realise how much better the newer auto box's are and while the upshifts are just as quick, the TC lock-up is so much quicker and more forgiving when the accelerator is touched!
