Strange how it seems to be the TDV8 / or TD6 that has most of the problems when you read thru the forum ..... either that or theres not many SC owners on here .......

I used to run with 275/45/20's found them not very good at holding the road in the wet, took them off after a couple of thousand miles and they are still lying in the garage .......

Mick, good to know re the tyres, may have to keep my eye out for a tyre/wheel combo deal, see how it goes.

All depends if it was advertised with the size of tyres or the Salesman informed you about the tyre sizes ,

If not invoke your statutory rights to whom you bought it from by informing them that the vehicle has been sold under misinterpretation of the Sale of Goods Act 1979.

By which you were mislead and that the sales staff knowingly and underhandedly sold you a vehicle which does not substantiate the true description of said vehicle advertised.

Stuff like that always puts the wind up dealers ...........

Worth a try .....
