Rear Lights LED or Supercharged Style

Ok im fighting a battle here and dont know what ones to go for lol

I really like the fact the supercharged lights look really clean on a silver vogue but i do like the newer LED style rear lights

What do u guys think re the lights? I know that the LED is a hassle with fitting but i will get around that if i went for them

I have an SC, so have the clear lights and have toyed with converting to LED, but the SC ones do look very clean with no red in sight, so I'm not convinced it would be an improvement in my case.

It's all down to personal taste at the end of the day.

Fitting LED rears isn't that much of a hassle these days, as there are interface boxes available that sort everything out for you for a couple of hundred quid. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I would only do the LED's as part of a full facelift otherwise stick with the clear ones

They are different kits - the Powerful one is just fixing an issue with the fog light - you would still need ballast resistors and maybe a relay for the rest.

The eBay kit is a full interface for all the lights.

I feel the S/C lights are still the way to go, I love them on mine and I don't like the new lights as much as the S/C lights. I love the clear look of them, that goes especially well with my Zambezi Silver car.

I do like the look of the 2010 LED lights and I think they look great on certain colours, like the black/dark coloured FFRRs. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Here's a thought for you...

Safety... The 2010 rear light design was influenced heavily due to the rear indicators being missed by following drivers when the brake lamps were illuminated in bad weather before the indicators...

They are by far a better design. Far brighter and IMHO much more attractive...
