Is it the arm or the big white plastic nut?

No it's the arm the nut goes through. It's snapped where it connects at the other end. I assume it's cause it's so tight they just ragged it off. The nut is tight on the housing, it's snapped at the back Range Rover 4.4 V8 Autobiography

You should be able to fabricate something to replace the broken part |

Yeah that what I figured it would have to be. Just not an awful lot of room in there lol. I will get my thinking cap on at weekend when I have the light on my side. Cheers for your input |
