Well spotted VMPP. What difference does it actually make though if the tyre is V rated instead of Y rated? V rating is up to 149mph - I can't see me ever getting up to more than 120 in a TDV8 without bottling it! They are hardly going to be unsafe are they? I contacted Rimmer Bros in Lincs as they sell the same package of wheels and tyres, they say that the 20" alloys with 109V rated tyres are suitable for all FFRR models except the Supercharged.

Ref the pre 06MY and post 06MY stuff around 20" wheels - I got to the bottom of this.

You will also find that the std 7 spoke wheels for post 07 have dimples in them around the centre. |

But, if you have a post 06MY car such as an 07 or 08, then you can still buy those wheel packages and just use your existing wheel nuts? yes?

no, if you are fitting Matford or Rimmer pre 06 MY wheels to a post 06 MY vehicle then you need to change the nuts as well. |
