If you use the search facility you will find this has been discussed before. People love to suggest it is the battery because this can cause various electrical glitches, but there are numerous reasons why this fault happens and personally I don't think the battery is the most likely.

Does sound like the situation you get after disconnecting the battery. Try the lock to lock trick after starting up but before moving off. Does this clear the lights and the fault? This action resets the steering angle sensor.

Gonna check out my battery tomorrow, hopefully that'll be it!! Total numbers of faults that all come on together are, air susp inactive, hdc inactive, abs light in Amber, brake light in amber, and finally the dsc light in Amber!!

a question i will have to raise. They say they specialise in 4x4 wheel alignment with 14point laser alignment of all 4 wheels. |

Specialising in 4x4 doesn't mean they are FFRR competent.....be warned |

will do, thanks. I think its probably likely that one of the abs sensors has been damaged when i was hammering around there doing the track rod ends |
