Miss the Brembo's

From the SC , why did they take them off the TDV8 , also just noticed today that the front windows are not double glazed ( if thats what the terminology is ) as they were on the SC .. Rolling Eyes ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Re: Miss the Brembo's

Yes they went off the TDV8 for 10MY. Back for 11MY. The laminated glass or 'acoustic glass' is only standard on Autobiography derivatives I believe and optional on the others. Does it make a big difference then? NB the windscreen should be laminated on all 10MY.

@ johnson1 .. Brakes wise yes i would say … Regarding the double glazing it was just when i was getting the car washed whilst in it that i heard what the car washer guys were saying and i actually thought i had one of my windows open … thats when i noticed they are not doubled …

Can Brembos be aftermarket fitted then … Whistle

@ wackyjim … i know , but don't think SWMBO'd will let me change so soon ... Laughing Laughing ====================================

oh dear, another case of cutting corners on the spec, they used to be standard on a Vogue from 2006 MY up.

Thumbs Up

Can't see why you can't just fit the 2011MY brakes to the 2010MY? They're also nicely branded RANGE ROVER too.

I know about cutting spec - didn't RSE used to be standard too? Dare I say it, I was quite surprised coming from BMWs the spec you get as standard on FFRR. The amount of leather on Autobiography vehicles compared to BMW vehicles of a similar price is unbelievable - I don't know any other manufacturer that offers a full leather headlining as standard in UK markets.

The 2011 brakes are Brembo but with Range Rover written on them. I was in the dealers today and in the showroom was a new Vogue SE with Brembo brakes with Brembo written on them??? The car had a really nice front and rear number and black Range Rover wheel caps...it looked the business.

Mick, upgrade to a 2011MY with steps and tell SHMBO that this was the only option if she wanted steps! Current MY2020

I go into the regional office and wait for it to be done, or get a man servant to do it for you. Last time I posted it to them it took 6 weeks Rolling Eyes
