United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Having done the Range Rover Track day, if you really have to stop in a hurry, the Brembos and the park break are nothing short of astonishing for such a heavy car at speed.

I don't recommend you try the emergency park brake procedure in your own car though, I did it in mine and the shoes cracked up and I ended up with a new discs, pads and shoes bill of £700.

(Emergency Park Break procedure - In an emergency stop situation stamp on the foot brake, pull up the electronic park break and hold - car beeps at you, keep holding till you are almost stopped and release park brake, then go and empty your trousers Shocked )

If you have a normal hand brake do NOT do this! Discovery 4 HSE

A tw@t in a Renault Clio nearly ended up in my boot the othe day on the M8 when the cars in front (for no apparant reason as happens on this road for some unknown reason) came to a dead stop. Considering he was too damn close to start with I could see an imminent collision with my rear end until he decided it was a better idea to swerve into the inside lane and nearly take out a van, who was not best pleased to put it mildy!

In the end nobody was hurt and no cars were damaged, but it demontrated to me how good these guys are at hauling a big beast to a halt!

Thanks Brembo! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
