Green, I don't think anybody would fit side steps for aesthetic reasons, for me it's pretty clear that they compromise the beautiful lines of the FFRR, however they can be very useful for practical reasons, which is I guess why most people fit them.

I'm with Direct Line - plenty of extra's (including fixed side steps) & no problems there. I haven't had a full renewal quote just yet as I changed vehicles during the policy, but it's set to be around £900 fully comp & that's for new value around 85K

To be honest, car park dings are one of the reasons I was thinking of getting them. My last car was damaged on 2 separate occasions in Tesco car park!
