Done my good Deed for the day

Called into Morrison's to buy AA batteries , went to the self service check out , did the usual press start , Blah Blah blah , paid by card as it was £30 for AA batteries Shocked ( halloween toys ) anyhow about to walk away noticed that someone had forgotten to lift their change in the note dispenser which was £10 …

So took it out gave it to the Morrison's assistant and told her someone must have forgot it ….

Guy behind me in the queue looked at me as if i was daft ….

I just thought it might have been some old biddy that has left it … Thumbs Up

So what would you have done …. Whistle ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Wales 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Zambezi Silver

I would have done the same. Went to chemist today to buy some medicines. The price was £12 and a few pence. I handed over £20 note and the few pence. The women gave me £10 change and turned away. I told her she had given me too much change. She looked surprised and thanked me.

I know it was only a couple of quid but whenever things like that happen I would feel crappy if I didn't say anything. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Generally I think honesty and being free of guilt pays in the long run.....

I'd have handed it back as well tbh Smile
its like letting people out, if i do it in the FFRR i usually get thanked, if i do it in the SWMBO's SSS then i get some noob behind honk their horn for waiting....

like letting ladies first (and men with meboobs as well!) its just something you do and a lot of people just forget and push through.

Me too! Can't put a price on that feeling you get from doing the right things.

Commendable actions, sir.

Someone did the same for me once. I left £200 holiday money hanging out of a Lloyd's bank hole in the wall after a particularly short skirt walked past Shocked

I blamed temporary insanity . . . . Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
