i have rubber which is very very easy to clean, but what bothers me is why have mats covering a carpet that will never be seen and enjoyed... ... - .- -.

get both, I cover the carpet mats with the rubber mats in the winter, and in the summer put the carpet mats over the rubber. best of both worlds, it gives a nicer cabin interior / more plush, and it might sound stupid, but also the carpet is quieter than the rubber - carpets absorb noise rubber doesn't.

Going into winter I'd get a rubber set. They are cheaper and readily available on eBay at low prices. Then next spring if you still want a set of carpet ones get em. FFRR TD6 HSE

don't bother with the premium if you know it's going to get dirty with mud etc. They're really thick pile & feel lovely with your shoes off !

I've got both. Just swap as needed. One over the other in MY05 & no trouble with throttle
