Help Car wont start strange problems

Hi guys got a bit of a strange one the car is a 2006 supercharged

The wife went to use the car today and the key wouldnt turn in the ignition it eventually turned but then wouldnt start.

Also the Media screen turns on then after a certain amount of time turns off and goes black. I just went to use it and it started fine thought it might be the key fob battery and changed that as she said the central locking wouldnt work at the same time the problem occured.

So symptons are
Black Screen on Sat Nav
Key wont turn in ignition for a couple of attemps
Engine wont start
Central locking wont lock from key fob.

I have replaced the battery in the key fob and now disconnected the battery will see if this makes a difference in a bit.

The Car battery was replaced about 5 months ago but i suppose it is possible there is a battery drain any ideas guys would be great??? Supercharged LPG!!

Cheers guys are the battery's really that bad it was new 5 months ago?? Supercharged LPG!!

i beleive it was an aftermarket battery but it did look like a good heavy duty one Supercharged LPG!!

could be the battery..
my october 2010 bosch 110amp/920 crank battery is failing and is being replaced on saturday..thats only a year old.. Neutral ... - .- -.

receipt is safe and sound and battery only a year old....when i rang eurocarparts i was expecting a negative response but they said they would exchange no questions asked. ... - .- -.
