if poss try to avoid using resisters they can get very hot and i mean very hot. i have tried the new cree led's ones i bought, crap Exclamation they are great in the colour range but just dont give out any light, you just end up with a round spot of light in the middle of the light unit. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

not sure if I am missing something here....

so its right to say that if you want rid of the 'bulb' effect from the front of the FF, the only way to do this is with led lights and resistors? I am sure I read an alternative way of using led's but without the resistor? (from another forum maybe??)

If yours is pre touch screen I am sure you can turn the error message of using navcoder, the fogs do show up on the Navcoder interface. I am going to get some and thats what I plan to do. Reformed

leds/smds take less power to operate than a normal bulb so the FFRR thinks one/two bulbs are out and so shows an error and displays that, one way to solve that is by fitting resisters in parallel to the led/smd ...another method is buy leds/smds with a canbus error circuit which fools the FFRR into thinking there is a proper wattage bulb ... ... - .- -.

Will somebody be so kind as to post the bulb types for each upgrade please?. H7 for the fogs etc, my book doesnt list them like this and i have to tell hids-direct what i want so he can do me a deal. Dont want to order a fitment that doesnt work or is too bright, he suggested 8 SMD LED's for the side lights suggesting that his 5 SMD would be too blue.

Hope its not too much trouble, the bulbs id like to do initially are, fogs, side lights, number plates and interior.

Thanks

Carl

What about the front fog lights, will the H11 LED CREE projector type bulbs be suitable or is it better just to get HID Xenon white bulbs?
