I'd do it for both the ZF and the GM (TD6) gearboxes. And for those who are not experienced auto DIYers, I'd have it done by a specialist. Not because it's difficult to do, but because the pan needs to be dropped and the debris on the pan magnets looked at to judge the condition of the box. A specialist will know what he's looking at.

I'd agree with most of the comments - mine cost me £152 from a specialist, the oil and parts would have cost me more than that. __________________
