Left the car with Euro LPG today. They are going to fit the tank in the spare wheel well, a 92 litre one (largest that fits without lifting the floor), and fit the compressor behind it. They will need to 'modify' the box which the compressor lives in! This solution was suggested by Craig.

Filler is going on a bracket under the rear bumper, since unfortunately no tow bar armature to fit it to.

I asked about fitting it next to the petrol filler cap, but there is only space if you use the continental type narrow filler, which is not authorised for fitting in the UK, and may lead to issues at MOT time apparently.
Thumbs Up

One other thing, I'd say if fitting LPG, get a new battery if your battery is due for replacement. I'm sure a lot of the engine light issues people get after LPG conversion are down to failing batteries. You take one five year old Range Rover, stick it in a workshop for a few days where the five year old battery gets flattened several times, then charge it up and send it on its merry way. Hey presto engine light comes on with silly fault codes which can never be traced, and it's all put down to the LPG! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

Just a follow up on the Preston Air bracket I mentioned yesterday.

If your compressor looks like the one above, you do not have a Wabco compressor (possibly Hitachi?), and the bracket can not be used to re-locate the compressor. Pic is from my 05 plate 06MY SC.

I do! So ahead with the 'modification' of the housing! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!
