Electric window not closing

Did a search but nothing reflecting my problem.

passengers side window will not close; it goes up to the top & then returns to fully open, I've checked the chanels for anything trapped, but all clear - any clues, control modules??

Thanks

Possibly needs reset. Try pressing the down switch and when the window is all the way down hold for 3 seconds, then push the up switch and when the window all the way up hold the switch for 3 seconds.

Doesn't seem to reset trying the 3 second hold down - when window is fully down, press the up button, but window goes up 97% then goes back down, but only 97% down not fully into the door - any other ideas on resetting?

Thanks

Just a refinement of advice above.
Hold button down until window is at bottom, release button and then press button down again and hold for 3-4 seconds.
Same for the top.

Sounds like it might be the anti-trap function that senses fingers etc and drops the window again?

I'm assuming that's what the reset tries to sort out? If it doesn't solve it maybe there's a problem with the sense machanism? Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Sounds like the anti-trap mechanism as tried the reset many time now with no joy. Is any intervention with the anti-trap a dealer only job? Would rather look at it myself if possible?

Thanks

I had the same problem on the rear driverside door and after much faffing about in the end i traced it to the window switch itself. Got one from ebay for £10 and changed them over. (took 5 mins - no need to remove the door card either - youtube video shows you how.) I hope this helps.
