Hi

I've decided to buy a FFRR, and am on the lookout for a nice TDV8. Up to maybe £24k available.

Not black. Prefer the paler interior colours.
Must have LR service history.
Under 70k miles
No bling wheels...

I'm selling my Audi S4 to part fund this change, so would be happy to do a swap with cash adjustment if that suits you.

Are you strictly wanting a TDV8?

Yes, needs to be a diesel, I want the new interior with TR, and the performance of the V8.... Graham

For £24k ???
Might have to be flexible on those parameters particularly with winter coming up. You might find a nice HSE for that price but a Vogue with FSH and under 70k is not likely.
Give you an idea, my 07 Vogue SE with 80k, FLRSH etc has just been valued at 31k trade in on a new D4.
Will keep eyes peeled though.

Well yes, a TD6 is 2 versions back from the current 4.4 diesel so prices are softer, but also consider that I was looking to trade in against a new D4 HSE at 50 odd grand. That means an inflated PX price. Not to the tune of 7 grand though.

24 grand simply isn't going to buy a TDV8 Vogue with new interior, less than 70K and FSH. Maybe a HSE or a higher mileage Vogue but winter is coming now and prices will firm up a bit.

There's quite a few TDV8s around in main agents at 24-26, mileages 55-80k... so shoudl be possible (he said, hopefully)  Graham

Yeah I was thinking that you'd be offered more for buying an expensive vehicle from them.

I have found one possible, just emailed the dealer. Hope to talk in the morning. 2007 TDV8 Vogue, under £25k and less than 60k miles. Must be a catch somewhere - it's probably fictional, merely bait designed to draw in the unwary (like me)

I have seen a few on the Autotrader to be honest, so I'm sure you'll find one

£31K

That's got to be somewhere around £7K more than it's worth - I'd be looking to offload it privately and haggle on your D4 as he obviously has some significant margin to play with.

Just found a second one, more miles but £1k cheaper... so they are around.
