I'm contemplating the purchase of the above model...just wondered what the general consensus was on its future depreciation given its 1 of 35?

It's not my only reason for buying it as ive been looking at SC's but wondered about residuals and how easy it would be to sell in the future?

I liked it - however I remember a certain LR Dealership took a while to sell a brand new / unregistered one of these when they first came out - despite being priced at approx. £68000 (about £12 grand under list price)...

...If I remember correctly - it sat unsold for so long because buyers favoured the new TDV8 which had just been released about the same time...

...unusual, but quite a nice colour / interior combination - also, I think Land Rover presented one of the 35 made to the Queen?

I'm sure Gazellio would be able to give you a few pointers of what they are worth now - personally, I doubt it commands any premium value over a standard Vogue SE of the same year...

...and may actually cost up to 30% more to insure because it is recognised as a Special Edition

Yep, exactly what I found when I was looking to buy a Westminster. Not a Vogue, not a Vogue SE, just a limited edition mix of the 2 which could potentially have weird extras that are expensive to replace.

Insurance companies HATE anything out of the ordinary.

The SC 35th Ann. is a very nice edition but will not command a premium over a Standard SC and may be harder to sell than a Standard Black SC due to the unusual but very nice colour scheme.

Has it still got the sheepskin floor rugs?

A salesman in my office bought one a couple of years ago.
I have to say the external colour and interior trim is somewhat of an acquired taste, and personally, I doubt I would acquire the taste!  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

I think it looks nice, im sure i have seen one on the road and its not too bad, just wonder about insurance costs and the fading of the paint that red colors always get over the years...
