I really like the colour...but I always like to be different...

I can get the car for a shy over £11k which even taking the milage into consideration seems not too bad value considering the cheapest S/C ive seen wnt for over 14k reciently.

My only problem is the milage...ive always bought high milage cars but this is my 1st range rover and im potentially diving into the deep S/C realms at that.

Ive looked into the various models and I get the impression the tdv6 is underpowered with pretty garbage fuel economy, the 4.4 v8 isnt much better then the supercharger and the tdv8 is good but still heavy money at 20k.

I dont do any more than 30 miles a day usually around 18...so hopefully running costs shouldnt be too bad? Ive had supercharged AMG mercs before.

How do i post images on this board?

The outside is lovely, but the colour inside is not a choice I'd like.

Sounds like a great buy if you do like to be different, but I don't think it would sell again in a hurry just because of the inside is not everyones taste.

Will make a lovely classic collector one day though if it's kept pristine. Thumbs Up

This seems to be the only real flaw...unless i was being really picky...but i suppose its to be expected given the milage.

Agreed, the seats would be improved if all in one colour. Still an interesting novelty.

I know what you guys mean regarding the colour but surley in the resale market there must be others like myself that dont want the typical black/silver range rover? I kind of like the idea that (regardless of whether the colour is my perfect choice or not) that there wont be another parked next to me one day the same....unless im very unlucky ('Very Happy')

I must like the wierd colours I almost bought a giverney green one and a rimini red one before that! But i was kind of drawn to the classic Britishness of the claret colour,

Now sombody tell me about the fuel consumption so i can be talked out of it! It was a toss up between this or a 996 C4 btw!

I think the exterior colour is great, it really suits it, and, as you say, a welcome change from black, grey or silver.

just hit 140k....

Its has 8 delaer service stamps and i checked with the dealer who said the car has had no issues inc gearbox.

That is my only worry the milage as this is potentially my first Range Rover (im usually a merc or bmw man) but ive always bought high milage cars.
