Probably the actual sat nav unit in the back. It's going to be a cd based mk3 - search here for the positive experiences people have had by upgrading it to a mk4 unit. It's a lot quicker and better in every way. |

Well after a process of elimination starting with the components in the rear of the car I have found what was casing the blank screen

most sat nav/radio problems stem from water in the near side rear compartment...have you fitted a 'water shedder' yet...its a plastic bag thingy to keep water/moisture away from the electronics.. ... - .- -.

Just to conclude this post, new second-hand tuner arrived today, 5 mins to fit, screen, TV, comp, Sat Nav etc all working perfectly................shame my area switches to digital fully by Feb. 2012 lol.............. |
