Right if I was to leave the FFRR Phaternity it would be back to something quick. I've had a series of quick cars and miss them but my lifestyle (baby and dog) means 2 seaters plus the other baby gear dog don't mix. Hence mr owning the best 4x4 by far! My shopping list would consist of M5 touring, E63 AMG estate, RS4 Avant or if budget allowed RS6! if I had to put my sensible head on I would look at 535d touring. But if I was to change the FFRR i think at the end of the day I would but another FFRR! it ticks all the box's! [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

I've had quick car before, and the bills to go with it, and the outright scarey acceleration even when full with bikes on the back but am glad i've moved onward and upward to an FFRR comfort, decent enough speed from the TD6, and a little bit better economy.

When I get the itch for something different I import an American Muscle Car including GT500's GT350's, Dodge Chargers & Challengers plus the latest Chevy Camaro. All V8 monsters that put a HUGE SMILE on the chops

I found mine and my mrs left leg always rubbing banging on the centre console bit and as it was hard i couldn't imagine tolerating it for long. can imagine they are nippy but the mrs really loves her SSS its super nippy and revs like a good un, shows a cooper S some heels when driven right and the traction control light is great fun in the tight corners when you get it to dog leg |

One of these would be a pretty good alternative.............. either a petrol or a diesel and if you have to carry rear seat passengers then the 5 door is the one to have!
