Sounds like it could well be the battery not holding its charge and causing this.

Got a flat Battery from cleaning it, the car that is, inside 1 Sunday.

That's probably the factor too, however I'd left the boot open |

I flattened the battery on mine cleaning the car and leaving the boot open over two days. Land Rover assistance confirmed you should not leave the keys in the ignition ( I had my bong removed by the dealer because it annoyed me) nor any doors open for any length of time.

Are you guys saying that the factory fitted battery is not up to the job or that the electronics are very taxing on any battery? May sound like a dumb question but just wanted to clarify. i know that electronics suck juice out of the battery when the car is switched off but would hate to think that half an hour in the car watching tv or listening to the radio would kill the battery? |

It was the boot that caused the issue! Had the lambda done today and the codes read - nothing outstanding.

Mine has done this sporadicaly over the last couple of years, unlock get in turn ignition on, Hazards and interior lights come on, turn them off and all is fine. No fault codes, got one of Dans OBD II reader thingies. letters not necessarily in the right order |
