There shouldn't be any problems with your battery now. Have you had the AGM battery installed? If so, there is a deeper problem if you still have battery problems.

I still have problems...and the AGM battery is only a few months old.

So I wanting to know if the Varta battery will fit?
Also...how do I put the bonnet into service mode so I can change the battery more easily?

Thanks

What problems do you have?

You need to do it via Land Rover as fiddling with the battery on an 11MY vehicle will give them a very easy way to void your warranty of any subsequent electrical issues, related or not.

Im fairly new to FFRR but I think the shell hasnt changed since the 2002 L322 - So it should do. It makes a hell of a difference. I didnt realise how crap the old one was until I fited the above. Its a tight squeeze and you need to open the bonnet fully - service mode, but its only half an hours work.

PS - If your car is that new Id be going back to LR -Isnt there a battery recall/upgrade for new ffrr

...which they won't do because the AGM battery is already uprated and 'approved' by Land Rover UK for installation in 11MY Range Rovers only. I don't know the exact specs but i think you will struggle to get a bigger battery to fit in that space. Manufacturers are notoriously difficult at approving non-OEM items into their vehicles for multiple reasons. I think there is a deeper issue with your car as since the updates and new battery, it has all gone quite quiet. I've been using FBH, DVD player with engine off etc and haven't had one low-battery warning. What is yours doing?

Is the battery you have fitted CCA(EN) - 920A?

Ive found I have no faults on cold start up anymore. The car seems more willing - which might just be in my head. Its been on a couple of weeks with no issue and Im not very careful. EG TV on not running, doors open / radio blasting when cleaning etc...

FBH shuts down after 5-10 mins.
Radio shuts down when washing the car with door open and music on after about 20-30 minutes.

The radio etc is not a 'problem'. It's how the car has been programmed by LR at an attempt to eradicate battery drain problems. I believe the FBH time has been reduced to those parameters too. No way of changing it unfortunately.

In BMWs the ignition and radio etc switch off after 15 mins for the same reason. This is also true in my MY10 997 which is 10 odd minutes. All to save battery. Surely you can switch it back on after the 30 mins if you're confident in battery?

My dealer advises me that LR have released some new software again last week. I am hoping this now will cure the problem. Crossing fingers.....

Word of caution. I'd check this isn't just going to further cause problems to you by reducing timings again. Has your dealer informed you what the update includes?

the one i fitted and does the job very well is a bosch 020 with 110AH, 920CCA....so if that one gives you 130AH and 1000CCA then it does sound a good battery...just make sure the terminals are the correct way round....
