Just bought the new 2012 centre caps from my local dealer. Had to order them as they are not stock items yet. Part number is LLR027409 £ 7.50 each + vat. They are thicker than the old ones and a better fit.

Unfortunately it has been raining off and on all day here so have only taken photos of a black 12my, this one has the exterior design pack but is as delivered so dosent have the lower finisher or rear exhaust finishers fitted yet. Hopefully will give you a better idea of the new type lights, but please excuse the poor quality of the photos!

I think the front fog light surrounds look awful................... why could LR not have left them body coloured, matt chrome looks cheap and "pimp my Range"
Interesting that for 2012MY LR hasn't updated the headlamp wash to the Evoque's system which works like the Audi system and washes one lens then the other instead of plunging you into darkness when you use the screenwasher at night 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Awwwww, reminds me why I wasn't too disappointed that the car which Steve Allum sourced for me didn't have the EDP I'm with Tim on this one

Also pleased that I took a 2011.5MY and didn't wait for a 2012. Wasn't sure how the black surrounds would look but I now think they're not my cuppa.

No doubt they'll grow on me of course once I've seen a few in the metal. Always seems to go like that, dunnit?!

In the background, is that a black grille surround on a silver car?

Thanks! shes my pride and joy. I agree with you all on the chrome bling, the less the better for me. I need to see a few on the road before i decide on the black grille surround. I wish they had darkened the rear lights,they look too blingy inside to me.

The black grill surround is now factory fit for the black lamps...

Just to clarify that 12my has the same fog lamp surrounds at 10my, 11my and 11.5my in so much that Vogue and Vogue SE are black, Autobiography (or V & VSE with Autobiography Design Pack) have matt silver, but the vehicle in the picture has the Exterior Design Pack (or Dynamic pack as it's referred to on 12my with the wheels shown in the picture) which is essentially the bodykit, has the chrome effect surrounds.

Therefore unless you order an EDP you will not get chrome. The car in the photo is yet to have it's PDI carried out which is when we fit the exhaust finishers and front/rear lower valances.
