I got my first speeding ticket in my classic, on the M3. Good times. They were limited to 115. Nice to see the RR has got a whole 15mph faster Laughing

Apart from aerodynamically, in what way were they limited to 115mph? That's a new one to me!

Electronically limited to 115. The 3.9's would happily get to 115 and would bounce off of the limiter once there. Once you got to 115 and tried to get to 116 it would momentarily cut fuel.

The EFi system on the RR was miles ahead of anything else on the market at the time. You cant count the number of EFI cars in 1985 on one hand.
