Speaking of lorry drivers…. A TNT lorry ran me off the road on Friday, I had to drive up the kerb at about 30mph to avoid him ploughing into me! I now have a knocking from my front suspension. Unfortunately as he was going so fast I couldn’t get his reg number so TNT are refusing to admit any sort of liability, saying as he didn’t actually crash into me it wasn’t an accident. 

By that logic if you kill the driver and hide the body it wont be a murder.

I had a run in with a TNT lorry on the way to work. I was trying to get onto the motorway and I could see this 7.5tonner driving in lane 1. As I was about to join the motorway I was already in front of him and I was gunning it to be on the safe side. I then noticed that this guy had increased his speed to try and stop me joining the motorway! He wouldn't pull into lane 2 even though there were no other cars there. He then drove right up behind me, flashing his lights and calling me a . I ignored him and accelerated off.

Dan - that's the sort of incident that annoys me too!
You don't have to crash into another driver to be able to claim against them if you were injured or your vehicle damaged as a result of trying to aviod a collision!
Whilst you don't have a registration number if you have an independent witness who can corroborate your story it might be worth going back to them or if you have legal expenses cover get a solicitor to write to them holding their vehicle driver responsible for your damage. Don't mistake my snoring for a lack of interest?

remain in the left-hand lane long enough to adjust to the speed of traffic before considering overtaking..

Nothing about Bombing it in front of a vehicle already on the Motorway......

How do you work that out Ken? The TNT driver was in the wrong by trying to prevent me joining the motorway. Plus, his subsequent hand gestures didn't help him either, especially as he was representing his company. Not very professional IMO.
