looks nice mate real nice. by any chance does yours come with the storage compartment in the rear middle seat? Seen a few about and some have a large compartment and others have just 2 cup holders in the head rest like mine. Also it's worth checking to see that the auxiliary coolant pump is not crossed wired like most are. I'm sure you'll be giving it some high load and the last thing you want is reduced engine msg's..

Yes, the A/C will be left on. There is currently a blue/grey film over all the windows where they have been damp from condensation which has then allowed bacteria to grow on the glass. Not helped by the water in the boot I'm sure. I have nightmares about all the copper connections on the BCM going green and then spending the rest of my life chasing niggly electrical gremlins like the rest of you!

How does a car that big move so well!? Truly amazing performance. I'm thankful for the brakes, they were somewhat lacking on the 4.4 when pushed so the Brembo's are a nice enhancement.

I was gentle with it on the motorway, but then hoofed it when I got onto a dual carriage way - then I got stopped by an unmarked police car! Luckily it was only a short burst of speed and I dont think he was able to get behind me to check exactly how fast I was going. I just got a telling off! 3 points on the way home from collecting a SC would have been impressive! And expensive! But I promise to not drive it ecconomically ALL the time. |
