I think that big chunk of soft steel in the middle has something to do with drawing power from the engine does it not??

They are resonators to reduce the intake noise.... I'm sure there could be room for improvement, although the air cleaner has only just been replaced. I do fancy a performance one. |

In fairness to the SC I think the AJV8 itself is VERY reliable and will last forever. Its the bits that are connected to it that can go wrong occasionally..... |

I have the original owners one, but really should take it off as the original number came through. But I just bought my initials from DVLA for £255 inc all fees - bargains. Couldnt find - DDUK24 |
